Generally, findings indicate that this method can potentially reduce pain, improve agility, mobility and balance, enhance cognitive function, and improve the quality of life for people with neurological disorders.
The Feldenkrais Method® is described in the best sellers:
Norman Doidge's The Brain's Way of Healing, and
Cathryn Jakobson Ramin's Crooked.
Dr. Norman Doidge dedicated a full chapter on how the Feldenkrais Method® helps the brain heal itself. This chapter offers clarity toward providing valuable information that could help you understand how this method can be of benefit to you. He highlights the work of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais and the work of some of his original students such as David Zemach Bersin and Anat Baniel (Anat Baniel Method®).
